Concept design through to detailed drawings and working with contractors on site to deliver a new Italian restaurant in West Byfleet, Surrey (in association with Threshold Interiors).

This unusual hospitality project was for an international software company, who wanted a restaurant for their staff as well as for the general public. We therefore worked closely with the client to guide them in briefing and project managing their first UK restaurant.

The challenge from our Italian clients was to create a modern trattoria. Starting with effective space planning, we focused on customer experience using high quality durable materials - grey marble bar top, brushed brass and oak shelving, herringbone panels, brass door handles and fascia signage lettering. The bespoke wine room features reeded glass lightboxes that produce a glow that draws the eye right into the restaurant. The family of leather upholstered mid-century modern style furniture was chosen for comfort but with a small footprint to ensure good circulation.

We delivered a warm welcoming environment with a cohesive look and feel that operates fluently.
